Canning Beets and Shucking Corn!

We have a wonderful farmers market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and we have started canning! On this day we did beets, squash, and then we shucked corn 🙂 
Learning knife skills here 🙂

Stuffing jars, he left the kitchen after this because he does not like the smell of vinegar LOL!

Shucking corn. I remember doing this as a child growing up on the same property as grandma. How I wish I had been a little older before she died, I could have learned so much!
